That in the future, this Kolhe community can be well-educated, stand up, speak up for their rights, and speak for themselves. This was our dream. We have more plans for the future.

He also said, “There will be books in this library. Our interest will come only when the members of this Kolhe community read, know, and learn from the books in the library. It will not be enough just to have books arranged in the library. When they retain that knowledge in their minds, that day our interest will come.”

Special guest speakers Elizabeth and Daniel Baker said, “Today is a joyous day for us. We were able to create a place for the Kolhe community. From there, they can learn more about their community. They can embrace their culture and it will help them become more organized in the future.”
Rezaul Karim, assistant station manager of Radio Mahananda, said, “A library and research center for the Kolhe community in such remote areas will help them move forward in acquiring knowledge and practicing culture.”

While speaking at the event, Rajiv Kolhe, president of Bilbailatha Adivasi Adarsh Non-Government Primary School, said, “This is a place for the young men and women here who go to school and college, love to study, and love to read books. I hope the Kolhe language community here will benefit from this. I thank everyone involved for this.”
