Harmonizing Santali, Mahalia, Pahari Minority, and Bengali Community Relations through Peacebuilding Project

Funded by the Mennonite Central Committee Bangladesh, this four-year, demand-driven project is implemented by the National Agency for Green Revolution (NAGR). Its core mission is to eliminate discrimination, cultivate social harmony, and empower youth and the community people in constructive societal roles.

The project focuses on the Kalma Union area of Tanore Upazila in the Rajshahi district, an area specifically selected due to existing disparities between Bengali and indigenous communities. Through its activities, local leaders have been educated about these societal imbalances. The “Harmonizing Santali, Mahale, Pahari Minority, and Bengali Community Relations through Peacebuilding Project” endeavors to resolve these conflicts by fostering widespread community awareness.
